The Depot Building was built in 1901 by Missouri Pacific. The old waiting rooms and offices of the train station have been restored and furnished.

The cotton warehouse part of the building has been transformed into an innovative learning center for children. There are 200 activities that encourage children to get involved, to manipulate, to create, and to solve problems. Children must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the activities. Children are expected to clean up and put up after themselves.
